Want to throw a Twilight theme party but can’t find the right decoration ideas? These balloon decorations might just be the ticket to the perfect party.
Twilight theme parties are a huge hit and extremely popular. With the coming of the newest movie in the series, New Moon, it’s not likely this trend will die down soon. I saw the first movie, and I wouldn’t mind a Twilight party of my own. Just not sure my husband’s up for it.
I liked the creativity of this invitation. A little digital editing done to a movie poster from Twilight and a nice font and choice of colors and the invitations are ready to go. But wait until you see the invitation ideas in the video below.
These aren’t balloons – they’re lighted globes over a city, however, you can copy the idea by using 36″ latex balloons in red, white and black and hanging from the ceiling with white lace ribbon.
Twilight parties have been dark, brooding blends of red, black, and white in honor of vampires of old. For an indoor party – especially at night – replace the bulbs in your lamps with red light bulbs to enhance both the atmosphere of the event and also the decorations.
If you’re going to use black balloons, you might prefer to use the ones labeled “pitch black” instead of regular black as a balloon’s color is more opaque when the balloon is inflated.
While the colors in these Twilight Topiaries kits don’t match our theme, a simple replacement of the blue tulle with red or black tulle makes for great balloon sculptures along the walls or tucked in corners of your party space.
