Get ready to twist for a totally cute balloon witch decoration for your upcoming Halloween party. Not throwing a party? Then just hang one or two of these around your front door to add to your Halloween display.
If you’re like me, you have buckets of Halloween decorations stored in your closet, garage, attic…a friend’s house…a storage unit…well, you get my point. They take up a lot of space and they cost a fair amount of money when you add them all together. Balloons are a great way to go for some inexpensive, space-saving party decorations.
Watch this:
The balloon artist is using Qualatex 260 Entertainer Balloons which generally cost less than $10.00 for 100 balloons. The 260 refers to the diameter of the balloon and its length – the “2” meaning 2 inches in diameter and the “60” meaning 60 inches long. You might have to buy two packs of balloons to get all of the colors you need, but you wouldn’t need bags of 100, either, unless you wanted to do other balloon decorations. Your craft store should have smaller quantities of the colors you need.
Kind of looks like he’s doing a Rubik’s cube, but if you have a few kids in your house and you use the pause button on the video, even a beginner could make this balloon witch. You can make them a day or two ahead if you store them in a cool place until the party. Just keep them out of the sun!
