I guess I didn’t realize that there were so many Disney Princess Balloons and Princess birthday party supplies. I was doing a little research which turned into hours of Disney fun – including losing myself for quite some time on the Disney site painting with all of the princesses.
Here are a few birthday decorating ideas to get you started:
If, unlike me, you’re really good at planning ahead, you could scoop up some Disney Princess Halloween costumes shortly after Halloween when the costumes go on sale. Stash them away for little girls to wear to the party. Each can be a separate princess or there could be a few of each. Many girls love to dress up but it’s particularly fun when they all do so together and for such a special occasion.
So, if your daughter is after a Disney Princess birthday party, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to make her decorations special and unique. Start with a Disney Princess birthday party decorating kit that covers the basic supplies like the paper party goods, tablecloth, pinata and balloons. Then we add the extra, little touches.
If you want to do a unique cake decoration for your princess party, order this Signature Disney Princess Castle Cake with Carrying Case. The kit includes four Disney princesses, the toy castle with handles and directions for applying the cake topper to a two layer quarter sheet cake. It’s easy to set up and your child gets a keepsake memento to keep and play with after.
Maybe a gold carriage is too much to hope for, but if you arrange for a raised platform (have a handyman in the family?), you could cover it in pink or yellow fabric, surround it with yellow balloon columns and place a chair on the platform. Wrap the chair in a pink, chiffon fabric remnant and tie it off with a pretty yellow or pink bow to make a place of honor for the party girl.
Of course, if you can also afford a gold carriage to carry her around for the day, well, by all means…go for it! Either way, you’ll have a great photo opportunity!
