This guy is very funny and his instructions for making giant balloon spider decorations for your Halloween party are very easy to follow. His hands move a lot but he shows you most steps a couple of times so you can keep up.
There are two videos – part 1 and part 2 – for the instructions and I’ve included both here. If you just want to see what he spider looks like, race to the end of the 2nd video and then decide if it’s a balloon decoration that will work for you, whether or not you want to use it in your yard decorations or for your Halloween party. I think it’s pretty, darn cool!
Seems like just a few days ago it was September (well, it was) and now we’re into October and soon the boys will be begging to pick out their Halloween costumes. In the blink of an eye we’ll be moving on through the other end of year holidays. I’m not sure I’m ready for the roller-coaster ride the last few months always seems to bring so I’m going to work on my list of things to do for each holiday.
We also just received the invitation for our neighbor’s annual Halloween party. One year these included copies of CDs with Halloween music selections. This year he’s found these really cool, small black folders like the kids use in school with a small inner pocket. Inside the pocket are three white cards in graduating sizes each with a picture of a skull and crossbones at the top. Nice, thick quality paper. One is labeled Information and includes the party details. One is labeled Games and he’s listed several. The final card is labeled Menu with all sorts of creepy sounding food.
On the inside where there is no pocket, he’s glued a matching, white card with this party’s theme: Skull and Crossbones. The folder was held closed with a little piece of white ribbon held in place with a skull and cross bones sticker. I’m just going to have to steal that idea for my next party. As soon as I get the camera charged, I’ll add a picture. He’s just so darn creative!!!!
Maybe I’ll ask him if he needs any giant balloon spiders.
