If you have six days, an endless supply of hands, and 100,000 balloons laying around, why not make a haunted house of balloon decorations? Or just admire the work of the team that has managed to pull this off a number of times in the past.
Check out scenes from Balloon Manor 2008:
Believe it or not (now I sound like Ripley), Balloon Manor is a love story. Larry Moss started his first haunted house of balloon decorations in 2004 in New York to keep a promise he’d made to his wife while she was in a coma, the result of complications with cancer. Thankfully, she survived and held Larry to his promise.
Balloon Manor strives to be an annual event and proceeds benefit charitable organizations that provide support and research for cancer patients and treatments. You’ve got to visit their website for incredible pictures and ideas. Unfortunately, Balloon Manor will not be held this year due to a lack of funding but keep your eyes open for Halloween 2010. With Larry’s previous success and an extra year to plan ghoulish Halloween balloons, we’re sure to see his best work yet.
