Finally! With the movie out there are a few more New Moon party supplies available to choose from and a few new decoration ideas for how to create a magical, New Moon scene for any birthday.

Colors that work for this party theme include browns, golds, creams, reds, and blacks.  You want to create an impressive looking space but you don’t have to spend a lot of money to do so.

If you can get away with it, I’d drape a room in inexpensive brown tulle but that could take some time – instead, you could drape your chairs at your dining table in brown tulle and tie them off with large, cream ribbon.

Use candles to create mood lighting which you can do with frosted votives or candle holders and cream, red and brown candles.

Use movie posters or Edward, Jacob and Bella life size cutouts to help enhance the effect.

Inflate several 3 foot red balloons with helium and attach curling ribbon to them.  Make a collar of four gold-brown balloons filled with helium around the base of the large, red balloon.  You can do this by tying the first two brown-gold balloons together at their base and then tying the other two brown-gold balloons together at their base and twisting them together around the curling ribbon of the red balloon.  String chains of red balloon hearts down the curling ribbon just below the collar of gold-brown balloons.  These will make great balloon cloud decorations, offer lots of visual impact, and don’t cost a lot of money to make.
