This fairy tale theme kit with lit balloon trees is a very special prom night or wedding decorations idea. You can buy this set as a kit or as individual pieces at Stump’s Prom.
I particularly like the pair of lit balloon trees. The base of the tree is lit up from inside with nice, white lights and the tree top is a display of white balloons. For prom night or an evening wedding reception, these balloon trees themselves with white columns laced with green ivy, white balloon arches at the doorway, and a ceiling of white balloon clouds decked with gold tulle bows would surely shine.
The balloon posts require some assembly.
If you’re hosting an outside event in the evening, these would make great patio decorations and would provide additional lighting to your party at the same time. The arch also gives the traditional photo opportunity for guests or prom attendees.
Because the balloons are attached to a frame, they do not require helium and will last at least 24 hours depending on the temperature in which they’re stored. This allows those of you setting up the decorations to do them earlier before the event and have time for other activities in between set up and the actual party start time.
If you have a very large area to decorate but buying multiple kits or making multiple scenes is too costly, use fabric and bunches of matching balloons to fill in extra space between the kit pieces. A shimmering silver or silver-flecked fabric draped to cover walls or painted cardboard scenery, large white tulle bows, white balloon stars, and bunches of white balloons attached to greenery potted in white planters can help expand the fairy tale theme.
